Mareks Sarnovskis is a musician, producer, author and participant of several music projects (Zemes Mala, Periscope, Sarnovskis.Sēruma).
“A poem is a finished work of art. It is the self-sufficiency of poetry that distinguishes a masterful poem from the text of a song. Poetry has its own unique melodiousness, rhythm, phonetic sound. When making music, it is important not to spoil poetry. Especially if the poem is perfect. I hope I have succeeded.”, the biggest difficulty of his work is emphasized by M. Sarnovskis, highlighting the high-quality poetry of the poet Jānis Rokpelnis.
This concert is a celebration of the presentation of the new music album “Izsaucēji”. The album includes 10 new compositions with the poetry of the great master of Latvian poetry, Jānis Rokpelnis.
