May 18 promises to be a peaceful evening of jazz music, full of beautiful sounds performed by a trio. Both original compositions and well-known jazz songs will be played in the peaceful atmosphere.

Vadims Dmitrijevs is one of the most brilliant Latvian jazz musicians of the new generation. During his short career, being only 24 years old, the trombonist has already managed to share the stage with world-class jazz musicians. Nils Landgren, Bob Moses, China Moses, Tino Derado, these are just some of the artists with whom Vadim has already played music together. He continues to work hard and improve himself in Germany, where, for 2 years, he has managed to represent Latvia in one of the most prestigious European jazz orchestras – the European Radio Jazz Orchestra. Also, while in Hamburg, he started replacing his teacher and his colleagues from time to time in one of Germany’s leading big bands – the NDR big band. This year, Vadim has also earned praise from the international trombonist association, becoming a laureate of the J.J.Johnson trombonist competition:

Jānis Pastars is one of the brightest and nicest jazz guitarists of the new generation! In 2021, he recorded and presented one of his compositions ‘DayDreamer’. Jānis graduated from the Latvian Music Academy of Jāzeps Vītolas, after studying as part of his internship, he continues to improve his knowledge with the Israeli guitarist and teacher Eran Har Even, who lives in Amsterdam. Jānis is a very melodic and innovative guitarist who is always looking for his own sound and always helps other musicians with ideas! On a daily basis, Jānis cooperated with several professional jazz and popular music ensembles in Latvia, as well as giving concerts abroad.

Andris Grunte is known as one of the most sought-after double bass players in Latvia. It can be said unequivocally that he is the best Latvian jazz bassist.
Participated in countless recordings with all leading Latvian and also European musicians.
Plays in such projects as Mirage jazz orchestra, Māra Briežkalnas quintet, Lauris Amantovs jazz quartet, collaborates with Laima Jansone, Arts Oribs, etc.

Inese Bērziņa – singer, teacher, manager and simply a good person. In the last two years, she has released two albums with original music in Latvian, containing nuances of jazz, blues, folk and indie music. She actively performs concerts with her own quartet, participates in various projects and shares her knowledge in private practice.
