Norwegian group, founded in 1993.
They perform klezmer-and gypsy music, inspirated by
Central-European café-style, Scandinavian folk music,
Finnish tango and swing jazz standards.
The group has a broad experience from concert tours and festivals
in Scandinavia and Germany. They have released 6 CD’s.
During the last 20 years , they appears every week at an old famous pub in Oslo,
called VALKA, always crowded with their fans.
Ragnar Heyerdahl
Classical violinist, educated in Berlin and Budapest.
He plays with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra since 1990.
( conducted until 2002 by the Latvian star Mariss Jansons )
Mikko Lampila
Virtuoso jazz pianist and classical cellist.
He played for several years also with the Oslo Philharmonic, finnish orchestras
as well as famous jazz groups in Norway.
Erik Fossum Svendsen
Violin improvisator in different folk music styles,
and a brilliant performer of the Norwegian hardanger fiddle.
